Sometimes it pays to listen to the wife!
On our way back today from a weekend at a popular entertainment locale, she talked me into stopping at an outlet mall sorta place that we'd seen on a roadside billboard or two on the way home.

..Lucky you then

...Not a collector of aircraft myself but do collect lots of other stuff and if I could offer some advice.....you might already know this......Keep all the BOXES in as pristine a condition as the models.....time'll come when you might want to sell a few on and you won't regret this..... 8-)

My wife is quite the collector also (like Hummels and Precious Moments).......there's a storeroom in the basement that holds the 1500+ or so boxes we've both amassed.

I'm jealous!
I usually would get the plastic models so I could customize them more, but because of prices, I don't want to spend $40 on a small scale model. It's insane now-a-days. The only cheap ones are snap on's. But I am planning on making a WWII panorama sometime later.
Still though, I am very jealous.
