I might give out watermelons this year. That should tire the little gremlins out.  ;D

Fozzer, are you ready for Halloween? Kit Kats and Hersheys sufficently packed with razors for the kids?  ;)

Happy Halloween (The evening before All Saints' Day; often devoted to pranks played by young people) or Allhallows Eve.

We don't get any children down our road now, most are young adults.  We miss going out with our children.

The old girl takes about two dozen home made candy apples and  several pounds of home made dark fudge all for the adults who have not grown up yet at the Royal Canadian Legion.  We also donate a box of 48 bags of potatoe chips to the Legion as well.
The Royal Canadian Legion has a scary room set up for the children and last year there were nearly three hundred children during a three hour period there.  They also run a haunted house along with Lions Club Members each year and that is at the other end of the village.
The old girl and I dress up and visit our neighbours for a wobbly pop or two, of course she is an actual witch.  She only uses the Cessna to fool folks, she gets around quite well on her broom.   ;D LMAO

I noticed all the "Moderators" are dressed as scary critters today.  I was almost tempted not to enter any of the forums today for fear of being hexed.
Thank goodness it will soon be midnight and I have enough medicine left in my bottle to ward off coughs, colds, sore holes, pimples on the ---- and scary moderators.   :o   ;D

Happy Halloween all...and to all a Fright Night.   :-X

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Since we now make a celebration of the eve rather than the intended holiday, perhaps it should be deemed Hallowphobia Day: apparel donned to taunt pneumatiphobia (or phasmophobia), bogyphobia and placophobia in a night-time jaunt -- causing cases of optophobia and achluophobia for many (how vexing if already afflicted with claustrophobia). 'Tis a night to decompose those afflicted with noctiphobia, as well. Nevertheless, I hope all went well with all of you, no one subjected to Samhainophobia.
Not too many come down this lane, anyway, but, with Mother Nature's occasional good timing, it started raining as the daylight dwindled, impeding those with pluviophobia. However, I'm not quite so affected by pedophobia as Foz (who also seems afflicted with 'neighborhood' ailurophobia) seems, giving Mazza supply-end-phagophobia; I, too, rather miss, particularly, the youngest of the costumed.
Mentioning phobias, I expect no one visiting this site has aviophobia (aviatophobia or pteromerhanophobia) unless done by broom; I've noted, however, that a few here have confused novercaphobia (pentheraphobia) with wiccaphobia. For my own part, I'm glad I don't have paraskavedekatriaphobia since this is one of those years when my birthdate, the ides of November, is on Friday. One phobia I do seem to have, although I may not fear them outright, is a type of proctophobia: it's just that so many of them seem to be walking around, especially about the holidays, and meeting them usually puts a lingering poignancy in the air.

I realised that. I have to keep the old chap on his toes. :D

His standards have been slipping recently. He's even started using American spelling. :o ;)
