Well I got a promotion offer in the mail from Warrior golf or something (a cheap golf brand) to get 3 free boxes of golf balls for free as long as I give them honest feedback on everything and actually use them. I had to pay for shipping and handling so I thought i'd give it a try, I mean 3 boxes of golf balls for free why wouldnt you.

Although I would still always use my Taylormade's i'd try these on a practice day. I call them and they start to get some of my golf information when they tell start talking about a promotion offer where I test out their clubs for 45 days!? Then they ask if I will honestly test them out and I said "I dont wanna test out the clubs, I already have my perfect clubs I will honestly test the golf balls" but he says I need to test the clubs first then I get to keep one of them?

So of course I just hung up, and what a suprise he calls me back 3 times!? They even saved my #  :o...!

So now I threw away the promotion offer and going to avoid them from these types of companys. I can only imagine how much I would have had to pay for shipping!  ::)

I get tons of free stuff, mostly samples, with no strings attached.

Good sources:

When they ask you for an email address:

http://www.tempomail.fr/index_en.html

There is a Firefox addon that will automatically generate a tempomail address, much easier and faster, and helpful if you have to "confirm" your email address.

It wasnt really about what im trying to get for free, im just mad that when they send me stuff in the mail to get me to try their product that hasnt been released yet and they start to talk about a new set of golf clubs?

I heard him talk about the golf balls once, and that was in the start of the phone call then these golf clubs came into discussion? I wonder if they want me to try their balls or their clubs?

Balls, clubs, whatever...they quite simply want every red cent you have.  ;D
Remember: anything "free" is worth what you pay for it!   ;)
and: what is your time worth to you?  ;)
