Pop Art?

Postby commoner » Fri Feb 20, 2009 12:26 pm

Hi Guys....been feeling a bit off for a while but not too bad now so thought I'd try you with this one.....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7899618.stm?lss

In my "pregnancy days"  ;) around 50 years ago my old girl wore a rather unbecoming maternity smock to hide her embarrassment at being this strange shape......That's how it was in those days.

How things have changed.....what do you think to this idea......would you like to be seen out with your wife/partner or whatever looking like this?

I'm reserving judgment... but what's your honest opinion?

Deal or no deal?

....commoner.... :-/

I think by the time the woman has the child, the dolphin in the lower left will catch up and probably pass the leader for the win..... ;)

Once she had dropped, it will look like a balloon that has been inflated too often.........stretched, very wrinkly and a small compressed picture that you are not sure what it once was ;D

As if Tramp Stamps weren't enough. Don't people have any self respect these days? What's next, renting out the space for advertising. Actually I think they're already doing that, advertising themselves as brainless idiots incapable of individual thought and can only follow the latest fad in an attempt to be noticed. The only positive is that the paint is only temporary.
Mari should have went with something more appropriate, like a pumpkin, watermellon, basketball, or Michelin Man!

Being serious, A pregnant woman's "bump" is the most treasured and beautiful thing nature can bestow.... so long as it's been impregnated by the "viewer" if you know what I mean.

I've been lucky enough to witness two of them growing..

I'd paint a viewing window, show the baby sat in a lazy boy, beer in hand watching sport
