If you think about what goes up, most go down. So eventually the Dow Jones and the Footsie 100 will go up.

We just have to hope it will stabilize.

Anything man can accomplish, man can screw up with little effort. It's part of the human condition.

Just hope and pray it will stay high is all anyone can do. Don't get your hopes up to high, all it would take is a little bad news and the bottom will fall out again. ::)

Like GM filing bankruptcy or another large bank with problems.  ::)

Have you also noticed how oil prices are way down. But gasoline prices are are barely moving. The oil companies have a new shipment of KY and they're putting it to use.  ::)

Well, hell, that's to darn far to drive for a fill up....lmao.

We're fixing to toss our useless governor out and hopefully we'll get one that will be for the people.

Hell, forced annexation is legal here. Your not allowed to vote on it or even asked if you want to. Your just told one day your home is now apart of a city or town and your taxes are doubled. All you can do is move. I can't figure out how it is constitutional. You can't pay the higher taxes, your thrown out of your home by sheriff's dressed in black military uniforms. It sounds allot like Nazi War tactics to me. They just did it to a couple of areas near me trying to force them into the city limits. It's in the courts now, but it's always defeated somehow.

If people would only consider the stock market was artificially high to begin with, mostly because of easy credit and inflated housing values, they would then realize the market currently is in a state of adjustment.

$2.80! Where do you live! There are only three states in the entire US that are higher than mine - Hawaii, Alaska and California.

::)

Try living here. Approx

Gas was 2.80 or so when I was home in Jersey over the weekend. Of course I paid 3.25 the night before so I had enough gas to get home from Wilkes-Barre, PA.

As for the stock market, in my opinion, it's all artificial, weather it's high or low, especially in the commodities market. For example, OPEC can create an oil shortage whenever they feel like it, regardless of weather or not they are capable of supplying the amount of oil the market demands.
