Dispite this sounds like terrorying , I have read about this misterious polarity changes of the earth ,its register geologicaly that in several ocacions the today's south pole was once the north pole, this even has reverse many time in the early earth past..

 no buddy knows exacly why this has happend ,and all about crossing the galactic gravitational field could be the cause ..who knows?

My doubt is the Date , see ,most of this even takes Millions of years ,and not so suddently, unless were an impact of an object a meteor or a comet.

as I said before Hollywood its a fabric of terror among people ,Did you know so far its being 2 suicides teenagers because they though the earth will be eaten by a black hole create by the hadron collider?

In a movie name "the day after tommorow" you can see How twisted are some producers and writters about phisics and natural phenomenon, They frezze the earth in a week ,assuming that an Ice age came so fast that even the coldest air in the high atmosphere drops to the ground ,It should be a law against this stupidities.

Wait around for about another billion years (or is it 2.. cant remember)

Andromeda will impact with the Milkyway and the earth will be on one of the tails as the 2 galaxies collide

Of course by then our sun will have become so hot the oceans will have boiled dry but hey.. its nice to know we have visitors coming!

Collision among galaxies are much common than you think, Where do you think Globular clusters come from?
those are remains of core of acients galaxies eated by the milky way , If we still exist for the """Colision""" between M31 and the milky W." the chances that any of 400 billions starts colide on to another its Impossible ,Distances among start are huge , and some Astronomers have a theory that our own MW. its actually a collision between two galaxies,Is not a regular spiral galaxy, Its an Unregular one ,but we can't see it from our perspective and location.
these Caos ussually happend not by a galaxies collision ,most of them happends when these start are

They've been predicting these doomsday alignments for years. I believe the last one involved a bunch of planets aligning. Yet, here we are, we're still here falling for this crap.

Back in the 60s when there was a very real chance that we would all be obliterated in a nuclear conflagration they told us we would have 4 minutes warning of an attack. I worked at Gatwick at the time which was 40 minutes away from where my dear wife was. The odds were that we would both be at work when the warning came so no chance of a last cuddle with the missus then. Just enough time to kiss your arse goodbye.

The famous 'four minute warning' was nonsense & everyone knew it. In practice it would have been even less than 4 minutes so there was no point in trying to give a warning. I discovered fairly recently that there were nuclear bunkers beneath most town halls & telephone exchanges in the country. It's quite possible that these still exist.

In the US, I think they predicted about 15 minutes notice, due to the larger distance. Also, missile launches could be identified almost immediately by offshore radar installations which were capable of tracking the missiles in Siberia. (or that was the plan. anyway)

The basement of my college's main academic building was originally designed as a fallout shelter. Most of the things that would protect you from fallout have been removed and there are now windows however.

I remember going to school one morning and my middle brother was a real wuss. He was all panicked and shaking like a dog shitting bones. He said, "What do we do if the bomb goes off!" I looked at him and said, "Well, I guess we could wave at mom while we fly by."  ;)

"CERN just announced it has changed it's date to collide it protons from October 10, 2008 to December 21, 2012 at 10:11pm!

They came up with the idea of colliding these protons into each an hour before 11:11pm time, that this would give the black hole created by the collision some time to swallow up the earth just before the Planet X passes through our solar system. While inside the black hole the scientists will reverse the polarity of the collider and we will all be put back where we started!

I really don't like all the doomsday predictions. The people have no real edvidence of such a doomsday. To me December 12 2012 is just another day.
