Windows Live Messenger

G'Day Fellas,

Here's a curious one. Recently, my windows live messenger has been doing funny things. I went to send an email to my girlfriend, and when i clicked on her group, it came up with "there are no known email addresses in this group". Odd i thought so i checked out messenger.

Funny thing, all my contacts have moved out of their assigned groups, and all into other contacts. I moved them back again, and later on that day, i noticed the numbers in my groups decreasing again. They were all moving back to Other Contacts. My girlfriend has the same problem, and so does my sister.

Any thoughts or queries? I tried the troubleshooting for windows live, and theres no support feature either.

I think it has something to do with global warming

Sounds like a server problem on microsoft's side, hopefully it will be patched in 15 months, after that the second service pack.

Have you updated it lately...... that is probably the reason.

I run Windows Live and I dont have this problem? :-?
Downloaded it April 08 when I got this laptop (I run vista though)
