Ok, Murray Walker was a famous exponent of the curse, but today cricket (a bit like baseball, but a little more sedate and sophisticated ;) ) commentator David Lloyd took it to new levels...

Ian Bell is on 199, the verge of his first test double century. Que Mr Lloyd (Bumble to his friends),

"No England batsman has ever been out for 199"...

Que the next ball...

OUT! Caught and bowled.

Ian Bell, the first England batsman to get 199! ;D

A cricket match can last 5 days though, so patience is required. A batsman can be on for as long as it takes to get him out...
...which should be fairly easy after his 5-day ordeal has reduced him to...
