This is a really sad commentary

I went to a doctors appointment this morning. I knew they'd want to draw blood, so I fasted. Afterwards I decided since I hadn't been out for a bacon and egg biscuit in years, I'd treat myself. So I went to the local Bojangles (first time and last) and ordered two bacon and egg biscuits for $1.89 each and with tax the total was $3.48. Ok, just before I ordered the drive up had a glitch that was corrected quickly.

I place my order and drove forward and was handed something I hadn't ordered. I told the teenage guy the order was wrong and he just stood there stupefied. You could almost see the smoke from the short circuit in his brain trying to figure it out. He finally looked over to the manager and said, "He says the order is wrong, what do I do?" The manager looking like he really wanted to punch his lights out said, "Ah, it's really quite simple, you get him what he ordered!" The teenager with the help of the manager was able to complete the assembly of two biscuits, two eggs, two pieces of cheese and bacon. It was totally awe inspiring....lmao.

Then the teenager asked for the money, I had to remind him that I'd given him a ten. He picked up the ten dollar bill and said, "Does anybody have a calculator so I can figure this guys change?!" I looked at him and said, "The change would be $6.52." He looked at me totally amazed and said, "How did you do that w/o a calculator?!" I looked at him and said, "When I was in school we were taught to use our brains, we had to figure math out on a piece of paper or in our heads!" The kid was totally amazed that there was a time that schools didn't require calculators.

BTW, this kid didn't seem have any mental disabilities. He was a close to normal as these brain dead kids in my area are now a days. As good ole Forrest Gump said, "Stupid is as stupid does" and this clown was seriously STUPID!
:o

Working in such an establishment as the one you described.... LEt's just say that it's usually the customers fault  ;D

My favorite:

In happy meals we often have toys in several colours..... every week another colour..

C = Customer
M = Me

C: Which colour toys do you have

M: Currently we only have the blue one

C: Oh...... do you have the red one?

M: No, we only have the blue one

C: Oh....... Do you have the green one

M: Let me check.....(walking away slowly breathing)

M: No sorry try again next week  :D

Problem solved...

I do sometimes forget to give people their food though :P ;D

I thought that I saw a glimmer of hope in the manager. But when he had to write down 10.00 - 3.48 = 6.52. I thought I'd lose it, he's the frigging boss!

It just amazed me how that little glitch in the computer system threw off the orchestraed flow. Apparently my order didn't register at all. Since it didn't register, it had no price and w/o the computer to tell them what to think, that really threw the system off....lmao.

The display of such mind numbing stupidity can only make one wonder if this guy is first and foremost aware of what planet he's on?

Secondly, if he might be some sort of sub species that escaped from Borneo?

I mean this fellow would need years of education just to hold down a meaningful conversation with a chimpanzee.

Ah-Ha... :o...!

...the infamous "Baseball Cap"!... ::)...!

Where would those wannabe, U.S.-look-alike Chaps be without one?...

...especially worn "back-to-front"...

...I ask myself!... ;D...!

Paul...an Honorable Member of the "English Flat Cap" Brigade... 8-)...!

..... ;D...!

I wish to prevent the wearing of "Baseball Caps", and uttering the word "Guys" before I depart this Mortal World..... ;)...!

I was afraid it might let out any pressure that had built up from the short circuiting while he was attempting to think.

I can hear Curly Howard saying to Moe Howard, "I'm trying to think and nothing is happening."......God I loved the 3 Stooges!
