I just had a (very) quick try-out, and Zoomed into San Francisco Bay on the Google Map, pressed Ctrl+A, and expected to be able to fly around the area...

...I didn't seem to be planted in the same location!.... :'(...!

...any ideas...?

Hi you need to select 'fly from present location' when the sim starts up. Then it will start from where ever you have zoomed into.

Hope that helps

Thanks Carl...;)...!

Got it working...!

The San Francisco scenery will be familiar to anyone who has used Flight Unlimited II....(VFR Photographic Scenery)... :)...!

Too bad there is no way to merge the terrain and information from Google earth, and the aircraft and flight dynamics from FS.  Is there a way to view the Google Earth aircraft from outside, I couldn't find it.

Actually there is a way to import all Google Earth info into FSX. I don't know how and I don't know where the article is but it exists.
