Ah thanks, but it says it will either be live on the internet or on the Science Channel, not Sci Fi.  I know for us you have to buy a special cable package for the Science Channel, so I'll probably watch it on the internet.  This is the link they gave in that article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp ... 1#22886841 ;)

Well their controlling it from my city (Tucson), so who knows!

Watched it live this evening. Amazing stuff. I remember when I saw Spirit land too. I can't wait for the data Phoenix will send back in the upcoming months. :D

...didn't see the landing but the first pics don't look much...better sands on Cleethorpes beach........mmm......in fact it just COULD be Cleethorpes.......mmm........or Southport.........commoner :-/ ;)

Just heard about the landing, it was good, i saw a simulated video of the landing, and the pics are being sent to NASA now ;)

However, once they rip off the cover to get to the core of it, it may not be life as we know it...

Can't help to wonder if the entire cost of this could have better been used in the direction of replacing our reliance on fossil fuels.
