Do you wipe after you type :o

A keyboard has more germs than the average toilet seat..........apparently.
"If people don't clean their keyboards regularly, they might as well eat lunch in the toilet."

These inspectors would have a heart attack if they saw my office ;D We have to eat at our desks as the kitchen is tiny, I can follow my lunch up the keyboard ;D

The best thing is to tip keyboards upside down and watch the crumbs fall out. Once that's gone the bacteria stops growing," she said.

Turns keyboard upside down over the trash can, watching crumbs fall out.

Problem solved.

Moves on  ;)

What's wrong with eating in the loo with a good book and a cup of tea?

Not new news. i have long known the keyboards were dirtier than toilet seats. I sometimes wipe and shake all the food crumbs out of it when I clean my computer.

[color=#003300]Having a problem getting to that last instruction: lost the keyboard in the flush... hope I don't lose this one.
Are you sure it isn't better to leave it wet? You should see some of the errant type that comes out of mine --

Simple answer... Wash your hands before you eat!

(or boil your keyboard every few weeks)
((or use voice recognition!))

I clean my keyboard every now and then. I shake it over the dustbin at least once a week, to get those crumbs out. Once a month I take a damp cloth to wipe the grease and other dirt off.

Crash ;)
