Click, if you dare
"the Assembly Appropriations Committee approved a bill... ...that would make it illegal to drive with a pet in your arms or in your lap."
Oh, like duh! Put your St.Bernard on your lap -- it's head out the window and two rears behind the steering wheel!

This was bound to happen. I often see people with dogs and cats sitting their owner's laps while he/she drives. The owner is kissing and petting the pet regardless of what is at hand.

I think this is a clear messege to not have pets in the front row. I say pets in the front row is just too much of a distraction for some drivers.

Infants are strapped in place for good reason -- the other pets are played with while driving?

Um, Foz -- and the like-minded, careful how you translate that last part...

..MMmmmm.... ::)..... :-*...!

The danger with small animals in the front, by the driver, is the fact that they have a habit of curling up under the Throttle/Clutch/Brake pedals....

...with dire results... :o...!

Paul...now, curling up with a "Pet" on the back seat is a different matter altogether!... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

What really makes me laugh is that they need a law for this  :-?

You're not in control of your vehicle, do you really need a law for every possible reason why not?

People just don't take driving as seriously as they should. They do it every day so whats the danger right?  ::) >:(

I think we need to just let nature take its course, screw "every life is sacred" Some people just need to disappear. If we let survival of the fittest take control many of societies problems would be fixed by peoples own stupidity.

Now please don't take the above post seriously but think about it... wouldn't that solve a lot????  If it works in nature let it work on us.  :P ;) ;) ;)

Should we make up seperate laws for losing vehicle control when a lady paints her toenails or someone has a paintball fight inside the vehicle while driving?[/color]

That's what I meant, thanks H   :)
