50 years ago, CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) marched at the Atomic Weapons Establishment at the former RAF Aldermaston, near Newbury, Berks, for the first time.

Today, they have their 50th anniversary march at the same place, which is still doing the same job.

So, to debrief, how do you think you've done so far CND? ;)

Some 10,000 people marched from London to Aldermaston in protest at Britain's first hydrogen bomb tests 50 years ago.

CND has predicted as many as 5,000 people from across the UK will gather for Monday's anniversary.

So in 50 years let's recap at what they have managed to do........
Ah yes, half their memberships... Well done CND! ::) ::) ::)

Perhaps they should give up and finally admit defeat :-?
