My nephew and partner are about to be parents. They want to call it, if it is a girl, Ocean Breeze............sounds more like the name of a toilet cleaner to me. And if it is a boy, Jessie, so at school, the other kids will call him, You Big............
Don't people think, the poor child has to carry this for the rest of it's life.

I guess Emi got off lucky as we had to have names that were the same for her in English and Hungarian! Better not have another girl as we'll be buggered for names

The one REAL name that I found funny as a kid were twins in my junior school.........Ivor and Ida RAWBOTTOM.....in my part of the world...Northern England we have lots of Bottoms...LONG....SIDE....SHUFFLE  and a few more which were always good for a smile........

IDA and IVORS' parents surely must have known what they were doing when they gave their offspring these handles.....

I heard that some kids were named Gandalf, one Harry Potter and some other wierd ones.

When I worked for AT&T, the lady that I sat next to and I started a list of funny names of customers that we dealt with. Two that stand out are Ona Doctor and Stan Lichter.
