Ancestry.com shares the silliest, craziest and downright cruelest names of all time

Ancestry.com collected the "best worst names" of real, documented people from the U.S. Census Reports. Which do you think takes the cake?

My nephew and partner are about to be parents. They want to call it, if it is a girl, Ocean Breeze............sounds more like the name of a toilet cleaner to me. And if it is a boy, Jessie, so at school, the other kids will call him, You Big............
Don't people think, the poor child has to carry this for the rest of it's life.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Thanks Romulus, this has given me the first good laugh of the day ;D ;D ;D
I guess Emi got off lucky as we had to have names that were the same for her in English and Hungarian! Better not have another girl as we'll be buggered for names :P ;D

LOL...like Ozzy I had a real good laugh at this....BUT. "Ancestry.com collected the "best worst names" of real, documented people from the U.S. Census Reports." not sure I believe that bit.......... :D

The one REAL name that I found funny as a kid were twins in my junior school.........Ivor and Ida RAWBOTTOM.....in my part of the world...Northern England we have lots of Bottoms...LONG....SIDE....SHUFFLE  and a few more which were always good for a smile........

IDA and IVORS' parents surely must have known what they were doing when they gave their offspring these handles..... :o

Still it is now a simple matter in the UK at least to change your name..for Just

I've been doing genealogies for about 10 years and even in my ancestry there's some sadistic parents.

Ice N. Snow a name from 1750....lmao

I've looked at literally thousands of names and seen the equivalent of headstones.

I came across this one during one of my many searches-

Had to be a jilted wife that penned this epitaph....lmao

When I worked for AT&T, the lady that I sat next to and I started a list of funny names of customers that we dealt with. Two that stand out are Ona Doctor and Stan Lichter. ;D

I met a woman once that was Burmese. She was pretty good looking at the time and she was extremely hesitant to tell me her name. She said that Western Males always made fun of her name.

She finally told me and her name was "Me Me Lai".
