When Novon Mashiah, an Israeli tourist, posed on the edge of his dinghy in the South Alligator River in the Australian Outback, he was clearly hoping for a special snap.
But Mr Mashiah, 27, realised that he had bitten off more than he could chew when a huge saltwater crocodile, about four metres long, leapt out of the murky water.
Mr Mashiah, who was posing for a photograph, said he did not realise crocodiles were so aggressive.

Why would a harmless crocodile want to hurt that mean man? Clearly the croc must be angry because of shrinking habitat due to a local housing development. There's no way an innocent creature of nature would possibly intend ill will unless there was some man-made circumstance.

How can you end up in a boat ,in croc country in Australia, without having a clue that these are the most aggressive reptiles on the planet? ::)

Probably the only thing that actually saved this moron is that the croc decided he need to cut down on junk food....

Well, I could see how someone could mistake an ugly, hungry, vicious crocidile with something as peacefull as a small cuddly and furry pet.....
