Streaking Meteor Over Pacific Northwest...!

If I hadn't slept in untill 0600, I would probably have seen it. One of my army buddies saw the flash light up the sky!

Some people in the area even reported hearing a rumble in addition to seeing the fireball

I got think overcast here in SOCAL. Can't see a thing in the sky tonight.

Not much chance of me seeing anything Andrew......too much fog lately........all day long too ! :-/

Predicting rain and overcast for SOCAL so there goes my chance of seeing the eclipse. I have to wait until 2010 for another full one. :'(

Don't feel so bad I have had an over cast for every single lunar eclipse, meteor shower or other night-sky type event for about 10 years. I saw the Hale-Bopp commet though. ;)

Couldn't see the eclipse!! :'( :'(

Lima was ALL covered by lots of fog...
