How does the internal wiring work?  Do they fiber the house or do they convert to RF and use the existing cable coax once it enters the home?

Keep waiting on them to get that here.  Already running Verizon 768K high speed, about $14 a month.  Pretty fast but large downloads can be a little bit of a drag.  But they have yet to run the new lines so could be awhile before we see it...Closest place to me that offers it is Fort Wayne :-/.  Still stuck with TV through the dreaded service known as...MEDIACOM CABLE [smiley=door.gif]

if I cut a line or 2 from Intel fab 11X, i could get OC12's...  ::)

otherwise, we one get 1 choice of high speed internet, some random company called cable one... and service... not reliable...

lucky you kev, i've been eyeing FiOS for a while.. but New Mexico isn't even on the planned states list...  :(

You Blokes over the Pond must have a totally different system to what we use over here... :o...!

Our Phone line/Internet line is owned by a monopoly..."British Telecom"!

They charge us for the use of their phone lines, in addition to the charge imposed by our Internet Service Providers...

The two charges have to be added together to indicate the total cost of Telephone and Internet usage!

Paul....2 Meg Broadband....
