Justice, well done NY

Postby Craig. » Sun Feb 03, 2008 10:13 pm

I think I speak for everyone outside of the New England fan base when I say, justice has prevailed, the cheaters lost. ;D ;D
I know James will be happy, if he remembers it after a night of partying and drinks.

Great super bowl. Should have placed a bet based on my gut feeling. I'd be rich right now. :'(

Best football game I've watched all year.  My friends left the party after NE got that last touchdown and I said "hey, we've still got a lifetime left to go here."  But no, they wanted to get home.   ;)

Congrats to the NY Giants!!

Congrats, James!!!

Believe it or not I was pulling for the Giants!!
I didn't want to see NE go undefeated.  Wanted the 1972 Miami Dolphins to keep that.

...the cheaters lost.
:-? I didn't note any cheating on either side; there was a controversial call in the last 35 seconds but that was the umpires' discretion.
Nevertheless, once the Giants won the NFL, only my favored teams remained (minus the Chargers). As I told someone on Saturday night, I no longer cared who won (rather a dangerous statement considering my locale -- and a bar on the other side of the doors).

I'm fairly sure the whole spygate affair that the patsies and Bellicheat got fined for at the beginning of the year would count as cheating. Certainly did in the NFL's eyes. Plus with reports of other tapes including the Rams walkthrough before the superbowl a few years back. I'd say that is the football universe sorting itself out. ;) :)

Personally  my opinion of NE is a team filled with arrogance, with the exception of Jr Seaul and Welker. It was nice to see those guys get their butt handed to them.

The Giants are bitter rivals to the Eagles, but I have to admit a part of me will always be a Giants fan now ;)

Not quite, losing by no more than a field goal. Even a touchdown wouldn't have been much difference with the low scores this game had -- but the score difference was about the same as the previous meeting, just a different hand; good match up both times.

The New Jersey Giants!! ;)
Yes, sure: they can well afford new jerseys now -- even if they wish them for practice in Connecticut.
;)
