Tell me about it! Here in the Detroit Metro area, we had nearly a foot of snow on the ground this time last week!?! Now we are under a tornado watch.

There was a tornado touchdown in the next county south of us earlier when that storm system rolled through the Madison dot on the map earlier today.  It was a rather odd weather day today, woke up to lightning and thunder, drove partway to work in heavy downpours and hail, then the rest of the way in the thickest fog I've seen.  I drove on the section of interstate where a 100 car pile-up happened yesterday (NEWS STORY).  It was pretty creepy to drive down the road with car parts, broken signs, and all kinds of garbage everywhere in almost exactly the same conditions that the accident happened in yesterday. :P

Watch out for the rising waters with all that rain and melting snow. :-/ ;)

Its now being referred to as the 100 year flood...There hasn't been so much flooding in this area as long as most remember.  Part due to the river already being high from snow melting a couple weeks ago and then all the 10 inches from last week melted off...and about 3 inches of rain has fell since last night :-/  Lot of roads and even highways are closed down tonight, theres even been homes evacuated down by the river which includes a large mobile home park.  This hasn't happened in many many years.  Schools are delayed in the morning...In all my 20 years I've never seen a school in this area delayed for flooding :o  And to top it all off its still raining :'(

Going to work this morning it was all I could do to make it down one of the main state roads.  A good portion of it is completely under water.  Roads that never flood are now flooded :o

Expecting the river to rise another 5-6 feet overnight meaning this could be nearing a disaster area if that happens.  If it would just stop raining it would help :-/

At least we got a warm day out of the deal even though it was pouring.  Made it to about 64
