To need or want this car.
Why not buy a tank instead, does exactly the same thing, but looks far cooler.

The futuristic, three-seat car also comes with a robotic device that Nissan said monitors the driver's expression using censors and tailors its conversation accordingly.

I think hope they mean sensors. ::)

A talking car that spins freely, and thats what you pick out as being the biggest thing wrong with the story ;D

That's one awful looking car.
As for being able to hold conversations with the driver, I'd like to have a go, just so I could answer back

Are you sleeping? There's a cafe 500m ahead.

"yes I'm fast asleep.... who do you think is driving the car you ****"

My SatNav has the same condescending attitude... She told me today to make a U-turn in a safe place, put my cigarette out and cut my speed.. then gave me a lecture on the merits of public transport over the dreaded car.  ;D  ;D

Ironically one of the direction options on my SatNav is "pedestrian".
One and the same if you drive in London..

thats the reason why they give sat navs a female voice. as women are only excellent at nagging!

I wonder what cafe the car will refer you to. I got a GPS navigation system for my car at Wall Mart for under $100. While messing around with the preset destinations I found that Wall Mart had removed everything except their own stores from the Shopping category.  ;D

It may be correct, Doug: compensating for the "driver's" utterances to the surprise of his cab spinning to the reverse direction while he's speeding through traffic lights in heavy traffic.
:o
(rather exemplifies Craig's post) ;)

WOW, that is one of the dumbest looking cars I've ever seen. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want my car to talk to me. Also, if you can't parallel park, then don't. Find another place to park. Making the car easier to park isn't the answer. ::)

this is what happens when you let designers drink while watching the Discovery Channle.   [smiley=beer.gif]
