Just a few moments ago, it was the Space50 Lovell space telescope event. They took the big ass telescope at Jodrell Bank and aimed it down the audience before projecting a series of movies and images and crap onto it (including a light show which was quite pretty)
so yeh, did anyone else go? what did you think of it? i thought it could have done with more facts and more on how it got to being what it is today (commentry aswell)
and also... what do you think about things like the Lovell telescope?
this is certainly technology at some of the finest ive seen so far! things like the images where extremeleymeleymeley high resolution.
discuss, the event, space and such telescopes
