iPod Touch...

8 gigs and 16 gigs?  Puh-lease!  Then in a year, it'll be 12 and 30 Gigs, then 30 and 60, then 80 and 160...

It's the same crap they did with the iPod and it's been their tactic all along.  Start with a small drive and slowly introduce bigger drives so people will buy upgraded versions of the same thing.  Now we can either buy an (in reality) ipod Nano with a cool touch screen for $400 we can buy the old iPod upped to 160 Gig for $350....

Guess which one I am getting?  ::)

I have the 30 gig video, and I'll upgrade to the 160, but that's a reasonable upgrade.  There's no way you can convince me the technology isn't there to put a bigger drive in that thing....

You see, when all my friends went and bought Ipod Nano's, at 4gb and 8gb, I was already laughing at them from behind my phone with its 4gb mini-sd card and my pda with its assortment of 1gb, 2gb, and 4gb sd cards. I have around 13gb on me, between the devices, plus my pda has 3G internet with a sweet data plan, so I can visit Youtube or Radioblog and access more music and media than will ever fit on a reasonably-priced ipod.

Could be time to pick up a cheap Ipod "classic" on ebay as all the gullible Muppet's who must upgrade to stay ahead of the Jones's.

Actually, now that I think about it, ill probably get a iPod Classic if they are still around.  I'd be worried about scuffing up the screen, etc.  Not to mention I have more than 16 gb worth of music.  My brother ordered a touch already.  Sold his iPod video for 90 bucks.  Stupid move.

Still happy with my 2 years old

"iPod with colour screen".... battery still lasts very well and just gives me music :)

One thing I hate: iTunes 7! It is really a memory hog and that's why music starts distoring/skipping...

So I downgraded to iTunes 6... it's much much better...

Argh! I don't even want to hear about the iPods. Dang contraptions are more annoying than seeing a Starbucks on every corner. That's why I bought the Zune.

I had a SanDisk MP3 player 512mb.

Battery was nice and all, but they're just better at making memories...
