How's your maintenance plan?

Postby Wing Nut » Wed Sep 05, 2007 7:08 am

It's got to be better than United's... ;D

Airline sacrifices goats to appease sky god

Just when you think you've heard everything...  ::)

I cannot comment as I have nothing polite to say.

Oh, wait.  That's a comment.  Dang this whole drinking and logging in thing.  Fong.  How can I salvage this?

Yeah, so preflight check:

Parking brakes set?  Parking brakes on.
Battery master switch on?  Battery master switch on.
Are the panel lights set as required?      Panel lights on.
Start the A. P. U.  A. P. U. on.
Avionics on?      Avionics on.
Gear down and locked?      Landing gear down.
Flaps up and trimmed.      Flaps up.
Poor, dumb animals sacrificed?  Sacrifice complete.

(taps foot)

(bites tongue)

Oh, heck.  I can't just leave it at that.  If my effing plane breaks down, I want you to send me a trained and qualified mechanic, not a priest with a blood-lust for herd animals.  Now, if that priest wants to make some goat stir-fry while the mechanic does some real work, I'd be willing to give that a try.  I don't have to eat just cows, you know!

Skeptically yours,
~Darrin
