Perseids tonight...

In case you have a clear sky (I don't  >:( ), the annual Persid meteor shower peaks tonight around midnight.  With no moon, it should be nice...  :)

But I'd rather the leonids Nov18 , although I have a very clear sky tonight  8-)

Use that link I gave above to check out the timae and frequency for your rough location by day.

Tonight in the Boston area should still be some good viewing....... assuming the clouds stay away.

Got outside for about 1/2 hour at midnight.  Saw 14 of them in that time.  One long one that traveled about 3/4 of the whole sky dome and left a trailing "sparkle" for a brief time.  One that was like a bright single explosion of light....no streak.  

It peaks here about 5AM....... I'm going to bed!   ;)
