This month (for the third month this year) I was removed from the flight schedule with pay so a new hire could have my flights to complete his IOE (Initial Operating Experience). On top of that i have vacation from the 11th to the 17th so im taking the wife to Disney World (she has never been)... im only scheduled for about 18 flight hours of work this whole month but im pay covered for 85 hours!! and the schedulers are telling me ill probably even be removed from those last few days too!!  ;D

Did they mention that you'd have to spend 6,000,000 hours in the simulator the moment you get back in order to get "current"?   ;)

Have fun.

best,
