I dont know if its been here, or I just noticed it, but I just wanted to thank pete for the new section that has been added to SimV. Im sure that section will come in handy for most FS users on there forums

It's thanks to Kevin Ryan 'Kevin'.

He's the one who instigated the Screenshot Comp (& thanks to Fly2e for piloting it wonderfully since..) & he  suggested, & has provided the 1st reviews for, this naturally requested new Forum.

Now we look forward to some of you contributing

I would take it that it what the Featured Download Submissions forum is for. Do we suggest and then Kevin takes it further?

It might be good to be able to add commentary on the suggestions.  I though that motor yacht seems pretty cool.  Why buy ship simulator when you have flight simulator?

Not suggest . Kevin has sweated a lot already .. - It's your turn to give back ... . The idea is that you can make your own review - then that can be added if it meets 'the standard'

But how can we make are own review or suggest something if the entire section is locked :-/

It's not, just click "start new topic" in the Featured Downloads Submissions.

Not so much reviews as simply pointing out a few gems from the past that may have been forgotten through time.  I actually thought of it when I was flying the Howard one day and realized I hadn't seen anyone flying it for ages...

Ah, then I'm looking forward to finding some nice downloads that I have glazed over because I'm too lazy to look for them myself.
