At school im looking to get C's, B's and hopefully a few A's but what im not sure about is do you have to have a loads of A's and A*'s or...can you get away with C's and above. I heard if you want sponserships you have to have quite a few A levels. Or you can go to the RAF but thats not realy my kind of way of doing it even though i

For any wannabe airline pilots, this is well worth a look though. I know several people who have been, or are going through the scheme. If I had taken the commercial route, this is probably what I would have done.

BTW, very interesting link Charlie, never seen them. What do you think about Cabair? Their name seems to keep coming up, + they are based just round the corner from me!


Aye, CTC/McAlpine as it was when it first appeared 5 or 6 years ago made the dream a lot more realistic to a lot of people without having to do ATPLs whilst funding it through other jobs.

Cabair are a very reputable flying school with several bases. OATS at Oxford are also worth a look and cooperate like Cabair do with sponsorship with several airlines.
