Well, Davis shot their pet.  The laws are on the books.  If I were that family, I'd pursue prosecution of Davis.

'Tis a common theme, often with a capital "T" -- historically, I've been told, not uncommon for London, a capitol "L" of a place.

Here I was thinking someone pulled off a "Dick Cheney" on someone's weewee...  ;D ... and it's about a goose...

Poor creature, they should insert a large firecracker in mr. Davis' place where the sun doesn't shine and light it...

As Fozzer would say... trust me...  ;D

I seriously doubt they could claim a wild critter was a pet without a license of some sort. If Mr. Davis were just a wee bit smart, he would have eaten the evidence. ;D

LOL...!

My thoughts, exactly... ;)...!!

There are lots of neighbours "Pets" around my property which I would dearly love to shoot.... [smiley=evil.gif]...!

...unfortunately, none of them are edible....Buggar!.... :-/...!

In the "Olden Days", domestic Cats were considered "Vermin" and could legally be shot on sight... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...

...I love the "Olden Days".... :-*...!

Paul.... ;D...!
