Yesterday my grandad gave me this letter.

Unfortunatly as it was near the end of the war he soon after received a letter saying they didn't require him anymore.
Then he joined the army and went to india around '47.

Wow, that's pretty neat.  Too bad he didn't get to fly though.

Do you think that Archie signed it himself?  :-?

Nice letter, and though I'm sure he was disappointed not being called up may have saved his life and yours. One to keep for your grandkids  ;)
