Google and privacy

It is still better than what was going to happen if the US security services got their way. Then all the data would have been stored for ever and ever and they could look at it whenever they wanted. I think the EU muppets have their knickers in a twist over nothing, as usual.
Okay with personal privacy sometimes things can be awkward but I'm not sure this is that severe. Afterall they've only got records of what you were looking for and what sites you looked at. It isn't like they're copying pin numbers and selling them or giving your email address to spammers
Storm in a VERY small teacup IMHO.

The thing that alarms me, is that before I started using the Internet, and Posting on it, no-one knew anything about me, except for those who I wished to know about me....
..ie; I was invisible.....!

Which was very nice... 8-)...!

Now, everyone and his dog can Google me/us, and find out all sorts of details about me/us, which I/we consider are of no particular concern of theirs... ...!

..and that information appears to be stored on the Internet for evermore, and cannot be removed!... ...!!

There are now many times when I wish I had never joined parts of this Internet Revolution!!

Once you have posted "something" on the Internet your Privacy is lost...forever...!!

Big Brother is now everywhere...observing us/me.... ...!
