How much one of these light bulbs cost?  About $4 or $5?  Well, what if you break one?  Then how much does one cost?

....Brandy Bridges broke one, and it cost her $2,004.28.  It's OK, saving the planet makes it worth it!   ;)

Funny you should bring this up, I was going to buy some of those yesterday when it occured to me that they contain mercury, which you aren't supposed to throw away with regular trash. Honestly, I don't know how you are supposed to dispose of it, so I didn't buy them.

It is now obvious that the wacko environmentalists never considered the real ramifications of their religion on average people...

All I can think of is all those people who have fancied themselves at the cutting edge of being green by using compact flourescent lightbulbs for up to several years have, in fact been polluting the planet at a greater rate then they thought they were saving it!

:o :o :o

What's all of this 'enviromentalist' reason you purport? We'd have perfected other means transport power if it had been more economical and financially productive at the start. On another, related matter someone just told me, "So what if it's buried there? It won't make any difference until we're long gone." That is, to an inverted 4377 with posterity.
Relative to the posterior, in latter autumn Joe D. Blownaway let his cows eat the rotten apples laying in his orchard because he wanted to save all of his stored hay for the winter. Afterwards, he being a heavy smoker, Joe D. lit up a cigarette and sat down to milk one of his thusly sated bovines, against all warnings of the dangers of methane. The cow's stomach burst and Joe D. and the cow were blown away, moon (rump) over hooves, in a big fireball. The entire barn, hay and all, burned to the ground.
You figure out the moral...

Regarding climatology, the study thereof is still evolving.
