I'm pretty sure that they're the same thing.  ;D

Also, go for the PS3, I did, and it was the right choice!

besides, PS3'll hav cooler games!  And the games'll be better quality, what with the blu-ray disc being able to hold 50Gbs of data. ;)

plus, motion detection on the controller...  drool...

WII! theres no comparison, wii is killing ps3 on the market right now and for good reason. I have a wii and i dont regret it one bit. Right now my friend is looking for a wii and cant find one anywhere, he said he went to walmart, target, best buy, and eb games, but in all stores there were about 3 or 4 ps3 on the shelves but NO WIIS! If you want a ps2 with better graphics get ps3, if you want a new, intuitive, fun system get the wii.

P.S. see this link for more reasons why ps3 is better than wii \/\/\/

Wii!  It's cheaper and more fun.  And any thoughts I had about getting the PS3 went away when yesterday at best buy it FROZE while playing motorstorm.  I'm not kidding, the super system FROZE.  My computer doesn't even freeze anymore!

can u get GTA4 on the Wii?  thats my main basis.  besides. most of the games ive seen on the Wii look mostly cartoonish.

another game, NFS, when it arrived on the Wii, the steering way just ackward.  probably be the same for other coming racing games.

also, the PS3 has conventional control, as well as motion-based control.  the Wii, is entirely based on motion control, so the PS3 is the one with the 3 options (motion control, normal control, both).

the PS3 has an HD output, native, which i understand can be achieved through the Wii, via a hack.

PS3 uses blu-ray, meaning it has the ability to hav larger, more complex games, with better textures, and higher performance.

PS3 has 60GB of on-board harddisk space (i dont mention the 20GB one, because i understand they discontinued it)

PS3 looks cooler (cant argue that one at all, otherwise ud be a weirdo)

just because a couple shops dont hav Wiis on their shelf, doesnt mean that their sales are going better, although in the large scale that is the case anyway...

anyway, i do admit, that Wii game where you fight with a katana, and shoot using the Wii's controller, the Wii-mote i think its called, looks pretty cool...  but otherwise, games on the PS3 still look better.

That doesn't say anything about the system, just shows the programming on the game is crap!!

If I installed some of my VB coursework code on on your computer, trust me...it would freeze up ;)
