Another 'Scientific' Discussion

I've been told that there is supposed to be (or has been) a scientific conference, a Meeting to Address How Chimpanzees Think. How do they expect to figure that out when they can't figure out how -- maybe, if -- humans do?* ::)

*Perhaps this belongs in the humour forum...

In the case of the following groups there is no discernable mental activity;
radio disk jockeys
TV "personalities"
gameshow hosts
people who go on gameshows (especially reality ones)
politicians
used car salesmen
in fact all salesmen
my uncle Graham
journalists
and here ends my major prejudice list ;D ;D ;D

You know the people Doug, those muppets on the end of a phone who are meant to help the customer but in actually fact leave you on hold for hours before cutting you off or putting you through to the wrong dept. Tele-hinderance people ;D
I forgot Volvo drivers Paul, in Hungary it is more BMWs and Audis that try and kill bikers!

Ah, you mean hindrance. Sometimes I think there is no hope for the English language. ::) :P ;)

In my experience you're lucky to speak to a human being these days.

Reading books by American authors does sometimes affect my judgement on spelling. I had this problem a lot when I moved back to Britain from California as a kid. I had real spelling issues....

I've noticed the occasional Americanism creeping in. I consider it my duty to keep you on your toes. ;)
