The UK is very good at securing its borders. We prefer spending money on more inane things.

Anyway, today a man was reject for a visa who:

1) on his previous visit to the UK left with a police caution after arrest for violent disorder and affray...

2) was held by Swedish police this month for suspected drugs offences...

3) is facing weapons and drug charges in the USA

Who was this person wishing to visit the UK?

None other than rapper Snoop Dogg. His lawyer was "mystified" at the decision. So am I. Normally we seem to let people like that in! ;D

Good riddance - now try it with everyone else who tries to come in.

The US tried unsuccessfully for years to deport John Lennon.  The ostensible reason was a misdemeanor conviction for marijuana possession (in the UK of all places) but the real reason was hit antiwar stance.

He knew that if he ever left the US he would never be able to get back in.
