Might that be $29.92 on the box ?   It looks just like mine, 'cept for the changes I made....... ;)

.......only in the interest of better flight capabilities, of course ........ 8-)

I've read that in some areas Target and Radio Shack carry them. Or you could always try the internet, just do a search for PicooZ, or Havoc Heli. Two different names, but they are the same product. I got my first one here before Wal-Mart had them, but you could probably find a better price elsewhere. ;)

Oh my god I want one!  I saw those on TV but figured it was the typical TV ad for a product that wouldn't be as cool as implied.  But if you guys say they're cool...

Last time I bought a little toy like that it was a mini RC car the size of a matchbox car.  Pretty cool until it died a premature death.  I was running around the cellar with it and it picked up a bunch of metal filings which I think shorted it out.

My house has vaulted ceilings so this thing will be perfect.  Plus I own the place so I don't have to worry about "mom" yelling at me to play with it outside.  :)

The only control you have is throttle and tail rotor (rudder), forward flight is achieved by either adding a little wieght to the nose, or by twisting the tail so that the rotor points slightly downward. When done properly this will cause the heli to hover more-or-less in once place until you turn right and slow to a stop when you turn left. I know it doesn't sound like you would have a whole lot of control, but once you get used to it, you can make the heli do whatever you want.

Wow, yes... I had one. Lots of fun, except for being forced to go in a circle. ;D

You'd think after all the hours I spent playing with that thing that I'd be better at landing choppers in FS9... ::)

Oh indeed, I do .......there was one previous to that one, which was hand-cranked with a cable in a coil sheath.....it was free flying and not tethered to a central pylon like this Mattel one........my younger brother got one for Christmas one year, I even had a picture or it flying, but I only really remember it very vaguely, ... I'll do some research.....

Wal*Mart's got alot of cool R/C toys.  My wife bought me an R/C F4U-1 Corsair for $29.  It's pretty cool.  I bought an R/C submarine from Wal*Mart a few months ago.  Looking forward to the weather to warm up so I can try it out.
