that does suck.  i was delayed 24 hours once coming back from the dominican republic...i spent my extra day on the beach   ;)  i did notice that continental 36 was late getting into egph this morning.  i watched it fly over me almost 4 hours late...might have been due to this bad weather.

8-)

I once spent 19 hours in Faro airport at the height of summer and the air-conditioning broke down and they ran out of drinks.... that was hell. I've not visited Portugal again since!

Worst delay I ever had was a brief stop in LAX, on the way back to Australia.

I can't say i've ever had a long delay while flying, but I've sure had my share of delays on the ground... ;)

My second flight I flew was 1.5 hours late and it was only an 1.25 hours long. :-/ Easyjet. ::) You get what you pay for; fair deal.

Funny though planes icing solid to the ground.  ;D

If you read the article this was not a normal delayed flight. That's bad enough but in this case hundreds of passengers were stuck on the aircraft (in sight of the destination terminal) for up to 10 1/2 hours.
