The amazing part is, either the ship made it to port and the film was developed, or that the guy taking the picture actually managed to hold his hand steady enough to remove his memory card and or plug the camera into a computer to email the pictures whilst being tossed about in a barrel. :o

Ha ha ha, me too! I don't get why people are honestly scared of things like that, ships are designed to withstand weather like that! :o

Sure, all that looks fun until you get sea-sick. Sea-sick isn't something that you can avoid simply by being manly, it happens without your will or consent and it happens to everybody who's exposed for long enough. I've heard a number of old salts who spent years in the Navy say that nobody was immune from sea-sickness. And once you're sick there's no escape, no place you can go that isn't moving around and churning your stomach. You puke, then when there's nothing left to puke you dry heave. And it doesn't stop until the seas settle, maybe for days on end. Yeah, sounds like a lot of fun. :)

There is no oil on that ship. Only the diesel in the fuel tanks. I think reporters are taking a liberty on some of the facts there...
I don't care what sort of oil it is. It will inevitably end up on my local beach.
