As every sentient male in the US knows by now the Florida Gators won their second national football championship in a 41-14 blowout over (grossly over ranked) Ohio State.

Congratulations to Coach Meyer, Chris Leak, Tim Tebow and the rest of rest of the team.  I look forward to seeing all of you next year (Chris in the NFL).

I;m was so happy to see my beloved Gators win the title.  I had been telling people for the last several weeks to watch out for the Gators because they are better than everyone expected...and I got laughs.  Well, when you play the hardest schedule in the nation and only drop 1 game, maybe someone should pay attention.

I'm also glad to see Chris Leak still get some deserved credit, he has been a excellent QB for a coule years and never got credit.  I'm tired of hearing a comparison to Danny Wuerffel, Wuerffel was one of my childhood heros.  Yes Wuerffel was a better QB at Florida for the system he was in but I think Leak is a much more complete quarterback.  At the college level I don't think anyone will ever be better than Danny, but Leak has some NFL potential.  I just hope his size doesn't hurt him in the draft too much.  I expec to see him as a 3rd or 4th round pick.

Florida just outplayed Ohio State.  I was amazed at what happened the 3 minutes or so before the half.  A fumble and a blown 4th and 1 by Ohio State were mind boggling.  After Florida State capitolized on both of those events, I knew the game was over at the half.
