thats right people, we hit a record 8 1/2 inches in my area, some places more than a foot

here's some not so good pictures i took last night, im posting more up today

Never told you it doesn't snow there. In '85 or '86 on the first day of spring there was 6"on the ground. Sadly, it doesn't last too long so you better hurry and build that snow-dude. You may want to stock your freezer with snowballs. ;D

No snow here in Wisconsin, kinda wierd. Nice to see the pictures, it reminds me of when we actually got snow during the winter.

Haha, we never get snow here in florida but it hasn't snowed anywhere on the east coast since October (when Buffalo got packed with it). It has been like spring weather here for about a month now. Where's the cold weather already?

havnt had a decent snowfall in worcest since the year i moved here in 1990

i was 2 years old :p so cnt remember it

but i love snow and i hate u cos u have 8inhes of the stuff

but u have that much snow 2 questiosn

and 1 piece of advice
-do not eat yellow snow-

It was nearly three years ago that we last had any real snow. I thought "this is probably the last chance I'm ever going to get..." So I went out at 8pm and started building a snowman. By 1am I had finished and it was taller than me. I was well impressed. We had a couple of inches last november but that only lasted a day.

I wonder why Denver gets all the snow and the east coast US and the UK get barely anything.

Been a few years since our last bad winter. Back in 99 was the last one. Christmas break from school (2 weeks long) was a couple days from being over. Started off with a record 65

lol, as soon as the frist snowflake falls here, there's 15 accidents, no snowplows, I-40 is shut down from Albuquerque to the Texas border (a 179mi stretch) and from Albuquerue to Raton Pass (the NM CO border, around 275mi), and people think that having 4x4 trucks means they are the gods of the road. sure, you can get moving with 4x4, but thats not gonna help you stop... I know how to use my 4x4 truck wisely.

Because they live a mile above sea level

My friend is in Santa FE NM and he sent some photos. Personally I never really thought about anywhere in NM getting snow but I find that it is common.
Living in TN you never know what you will get one day it will be 80* and sunny and then you will wake up and there will be a few feet of the white stuff, twelve hours later it will be summer again.

I think transistor radios are to blame for the weird weather.

Hey Ramos, have you had a chance to drive up to Sandia Peak, or are the roads still closed off? It's a mighty fine sight from up there after a good snow.

nah. im not a skiing person... and im pretty sure that I-40 is closed because it iced over. but it's getting warmer today, so mabye it will open.
