Cows.

Postby Ace_777 » Thu Dec 21, 2006 1:45 pm

Hello there,
Now I've been wondering, if cows aren't milked what would happen to them? I mean they can't milk themselves now?! Because I saw this program and it was comedy and this cow hadn't been milked and it was furious! However as soon as it got milked it wasn't furious anymore.

Somewhere out there must be a cow who hasn't been milked....Do they really get as furious?

cows need to be pregnant to get milked, and once the calf is born it sucks her dry ;)

What happens when you blow too much air in a balloon?

Hint:  Milk everywhere!

Just kidding.  I think they get uncomfortable in the milk producing area.  If you know a mother who's formula fed her baby ask her what it's like to not be milked...

Cows can be milked anytime, if a cow has just had a calf, it is still milked, but the milk isn't used in the milk you would buy in the store.  I've got a cousin with a dairy farm and they milk 200 cows twice a day.

Meat cows arent milked

A cow only produces milk if there is space left... if she's full she stops producing until there is room again.
And the movements made when milking cause increased milk production

Meat cows arent milked

Cows are actually defined as adult female cows who have had two or more calves, and they are the ones that are milked.  "Meat Cows" are actually steers, which are castrated males. ;)

Boy, sounds like those Meat Cows would be awful difficult to milk.  Perhaps they'd be easier to milk if they weren't castrated?  Mmmm, milk...

Reminds me of a blonde joke where she's looking for milk for her cereal, but sees something else that she thinks is a cow...

I think that was actually a TV commercial for something a couple of years ago. :D
