Searching for Aircraft wrecks using goolge earth

Hi all
Know that our new computer can run google earth I was wondering if anyone has located aircraft wrecks.
I was looking for the b17 (swamp ghost) in PNG but the detail wont let me see much

I have notice that closer looks in google earth are mosly posible in important places as citys and towns, the rest of the emptynes like deserts and montains without town or city are blurry images :)

I know what you mean. I know the location of the b17 but the area it is located in is not covered.
Its a shame there are so many areas that are'nt covered with good detail, its a excellent programe.

But as the actual Speed of Internet techcnology. Soon It will be a reality.. ,Perhaps we be able to see Images via webcan in LIVE mode ...specialy if comes from Google..Trust me..

If you have trouble finding something in high res on Google Earth, use it in conjunction with Windows Live Local. They both tend to cover areas that the others don't, and so you have a higher chance of finding what you want.
