From Ananova.com
Animal rights activists who broke into a circus to liberate a rare white tiger changed their minds after seeing it - and took a bunny rabbit instead.

Campaigners from the Swiss faction of the Animal Liberation Front had earlier told Circus Royal director Oliver Skreinig they planned to steal the Siberian tiger and hand him to a zoo.

But when they broke into the circus enclosure and saw the animal they changed their minds - and stole a rabbit instead.

The liberationists then posted pictures of themselves online wearing black army uniforms and balaclavas and holding the rabbit.

Skreinig said: "The pet rabbit was not even in the show, it belonged to our clown's six-year-old daughter."

I have nothing to say on this. ;D

I don't know that the best part of this is.

The fact that they told the Circus director their plans.

The fact they saw the Tiger and decided stealing the Rabbit would be safer.

The fact that they posted pictures of themselves on the internet with their prize.

Or the fact that the Rabbit is a six year old girl's pet.

You just couldn't make it up. ;D

Lol - I hope they returned it too. It would mean a lot to me to lose my rabbit like that and I'm 19.
*Sigh* This world is full of idiots - I can't think how many posts on simviaiton have been of idiots recently. Trying to release a tiger? They didn't sound like they came prepared very well. ::)

Releasing a tiger and coming away with a rabbit - they didn't succeed, but at least they came away with something ;D ;D

Tiger or the rabbit? Anyone who has seen a bit of Monty Python should know that the tiger is the safer option to steal.
Maybe Python does not translate in to Swiss to well ;D

Fictional scenario: Later that that day the ALF group took the liberated rabbit to a nearby woodland and set it free to romp and play. Seconds later a large and obviosly hungry hawk swooped down from the treetops and carried the bunny off to devour at it's leisure.  ;D

Or the rabbit was scared shitless of its new environment, that it turned and ran, only to get half way across the local road before becoming one with a Dunlop.
