Here in Germany a lot of people have that fish symbol on the back of their cars. My cousin who lives in the bible belt of North Carolina sent me one of these fish in the post, but with a small difference. It is the fish, with two small legs and Darwin written inside it. I put it on my car, and a couple of Germans asked what it was all about, they did not get it  ::)

Interesting site, I can't believe that you do not need to register or pay.

Dumb question:

I hope this is not too political when I ask it.

If evolution is becoming more and more fact because of archiological findings, discovery of gene technology, etc. then why do some schools refuse to teach evolution if it's a science in much the same way as how the earth is round?

It reminds me of the news that came out early this year about how historians were completely WRONG about who discovered America. It turns out that the Chinese discovered America first, then the vikings, and then Columbus. But then some of the schools reported that they won't change their history books because it's "too expensive". ::)

About life....

I heard this quote once and I think it's really good, Is from an Anime which is kinda corny But I think it's a good question.

And can you offer me proof of your existance How can you, when neither modern science nor philosophy can explain what life is

Another one is a bit more radical but is also an explanation about life

Your life is nothing more than a stain on my sword

:P

First one is good I suppose

Because there are certain groups on both sides of debates who feel the need to complain about anything they can.  It reminds me of the parents who complain about the word "God" in the pledge of allegiance, and the stink they put up about that.  Not saying either side is right, I'll keep my opinions to myself (or try to ::)), but most people feel the need to complain about one thing or another, and no matter how hard you try, they won't change their views and opinions.

I too tried to be nuetral in this post, and if I offended anyone, I am also very sorry. ;)

So, if you believe that anything the priest says is reality, and the priest says that Darwin is wrong and god created man from a rib

Being a devout atheist and worshipper of the inside of my eye lids on a Sunday morning, I am not the best person to talk religion, however, as I recall, man (Adam) was made from dust and Eve was made from Adams rib. So, Adam and Eve started humanity, but share DNA. I guess that would explain some corners of society today  ???

If people like to complain just about anything these days, then they should get a life. ::)

But then again, what is life? ;D
