When you see him next, give him a big pat on the back from me & the rest of the British public. Our boys don't get enough praise for dealing with stuff like this everyday, it can't be easy.
Oh and don't forget to buy him a LARGE glass of his favourite tipple..  ;)

The irony is, 10 years ago if anyone had told him he'd be getting that mention in the news, we'd have all died laughing.

We think of the troops out there every day and it is great to see some getting the recognition they deserve. Congrats to him and all the others out there.

I need to see if I can dig up one of the articles on a very close friend and mentor of mine, who served as director of Civil Affairs in Fallujah.  It was a rather harrowing six months.
