Hi all,
Just wondering whether anyone from here is going to the Farborough Airshow on the 22nd and 23rd of July. If the lineup is correct, it will be the first public display at an airshow in the Uk of the A-380, which should be interesting

I wish the A380 would come over here.. I imagine if it did, her first stop would be JFK. I would definetly go.

Only problem I could see with that is the competion between Boeing and European aircraft manufactures. Just think about Concorde...Still, would be cool if it did visit the US.

The A380 should be good, missed out on the flyover of Bristol because I was in a History lesson....I did hear it though, although most of my classmates mistook it for a normal ailiner!

If I go it will be on one of the trade days & only if my brother asks me to keep him company. The air display is much better on the public days but I can't handle the crowds. Farnborough is sadly a pale shadow of its former self. http://www.airsceneuk.org.uk/oldstuff/FabFarnboro/farnboro.htm

This is the one I won't be attending this year We put an enquiry in but never got anything satisfactory in reply (because we are only interested in the public days).

Well I would have liked to go but unfortunately I'll be on my way home agaion on the 20th of July.... Going the 10th!
