Football (or "Soccer" for our American friends)...

*Runs off to play proper sports like cricket*

Urmm Kat, your USA against England prediction, not a good one ;) The US first team were beaten by the England 2nd and even 3rd string team recently. If they ever meet in the world cup, they will be facing the real deal.
Sorry friendly banter ;D
Still dont like the game, but go England.

Crap, what is the similarity between a dead Royal Family member and the World Cup..................All TV viewing is #!#!# up for the next 4 weeks. Still at least Formula 1 has a couple of races over the next few weeks. Also, I even heard there is to be an International Tiddly Winks contest on BBC2 at 02:00, Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are "off days" to let the players recover. They get very sensitive thumbs if they play too long.  I have already set the video!

Well I've got some nice new payware to install and test (scenery and planes). I also got Moto GP 3 as a pressie yesterday (I keep ending up in the kitty litter... boy am I a pants racer :P)! I've got enough chocolate to feed a regiment of chocoholics and this can only mean it is time to disconnect the telly ;D
The missus has logged a mountain of films she wants to watch, and tomorrow night on TCM at 01.05 (EST) they have The Password Is Courage which I want to record (must buy a video tape on the way home...) 'cos I've been after it for a while, then I'll watch that in between The Wild Geese and either Firefox or Dambusters. Got to dig out Battle Of Britain, The Colditz Story and Bridge To Far for viewing as well.... Now if the next edition of Aeroplane will hurry up and arrive I'll have my reading material sorted as well ;D
Oh and late next week I'll have to spend a couple of days getting all the cherries off the trees at the vineyard (yummy work) and I'm sure the missus will find a number of DIY jobs that need doing and that I'll find more important than watching the telly...
Anyone else got exciting plans to avoid the next 4 weeks of rubbish on TV? ;D
