32 minutes in, and 4-0 england, 2 OGs

england are on fire at the moment.
looking good for the world cup!!  beckham is looking like he is in some discomfort, and terry has just been taken off, for which reason i am not sure.

England for the world cup!!  I reckon we have a very good chance this year.
anyone else think this?

cheers

i know, but with Beckham on the form he has at the moment, with the quality of his crosses...
and with an attack team like, well i daren't say Crouch, but owen, possibly Rooney, gerrard and Lampard, we have probably the best chance for the up for a very long time.

apparently Rooney has been sprinting and kicking the ball, so hopes are up about his world cup fitness, touch wood :-X

Mmm, four quick goals, and then until Jamaica tired towards the end of the match, nothing, normal England play... Nice bits of scoring by Crouch though. Unfashionable he may be, but good he certainly is... 2 quality finishes in 2 matches.

he has really hit form recently, three games on the trot in which he has scored, our chances are really looking up, even if Rooney is unable to play

just hold on there a minute, this footbal that you're talking about, why is it called that again? is there any explanation?

didnt think so

is it not just a load of clooege wierdos, with far too much padding on, running at each other and trying to get each other on the ground, and how big a bunch of whimps are you?!?! in rugby we wear next to no padding what ever, but with all your padding you could get hit with a sledge hammer and not feel it

coughwussescough

LOL...!

Just to get  the facts straight...

"Football" is mainly a sad male occupation, where 22 mostly brain-dead idiots kick a pig's bladder around a muddy field in the desperate hope of kicking it into a fishing net at one end of the field...
....and if they are successful, they then pull their jerseys over their heads, slide down the grass on their knees, punch the air, and leap upon each others backs in the hope of contacting each others private parts, to obtain the ultimate orgasm... ;)...!
The watching crowd, equally brain dead, will then leap up into the air, beat each other senseless, exit the Football ground and destroy the local Town, much to the consternation of all the sensible folks who are quietly going about their daily business.... ;)...!

...Apparently it's called "Football"...
...am I right...?

Paul...I love extracting the urine from football fanatics...;D...!

I'm with Fozzer on this one! The next four weeks are going to be a festival of flying, beer drinking and not watching the telly for me! Mainly 'cos there'll be nothing but 22 fairies running up and down kicking a bit of reprocessed cow, cuddling each other and doing some of the worst acting in history ::)
I'm now going back to my Moto GP 'cos THAT is exciting!

ok

some of the basic facts you got right. the aim of the game is to ge the football into the goal at the other end of the field, more tims than the oppostion does, but that my friend is where your ideas are lost.

there are a few stupid chavs, who, well, are chavs, thewy decide that if they lose then they will beat the sh1t crap out of the other fans, but these sad individuals are few and far between, and we are all thankful for taht, however the majority of football supporters are relatively mellow, and are there to support their team. it is a game which, as you probably don't beleive, involves much skill, and there fore is just the same as any other sport, be it tennis, cricket, american football no thats just a stupid idea, or even baseball.

what you had there is a completely and utterly steroetype of the football game and supporters, and i bet you havent even tried to watch a game, but some people don't like the game and thats fair enough, but to hve that much prejudice and that kind of stereotype is just really sad, and what i said about american football is a joke, i dont particulaly like the game, so i just dont watch it, i dnt voice my opinions seriously like that.
