Fights

Hey guys! Maybe a stupid thread, but I'm wondering if any of you ever was in a fight or maybe saw one that you still remember. Fights often make for good stories and sometimes they're funny. Sometimes they're nasty.

I'm asking this, because there are a lot of fights here lately, especially at night on the streets (duh!  ::)). I hate fights and I'm wondering what you guys think.

I've only been in a fight once, so here's my story:

I went to a school party with about 5 other friends. I think it was about 4 years ago, so I was 16 at the time. We were just dancing and making fun on the dancefloo, when suddenly this guy - about the same age as me and very drunk - jumped in the middle of our group and started pushing us away. I didn't get what was going on at all, it didn't make any sence, because I had never seen the guy before in my life, but still he was angry at us for some reason. So after a few seconds a decided to stop the guy and before I knew it my fist was going in his direction. It wasn't really a hard punch, more like a hey!-back-off!-punch and I first (accidentally) hit the head of one of my friends before hitting the troublemaker, but he went down anyway, I think because he was very drunk. After that the security guys removed him from the club.

When I walked out of the door with a friend about two hours later I felt someone tapping on my shoulder so I turned around. Apparently the guy had waited two hours to have his revenge on me, because the next thing I knew was his fist hitting me right in the face. Luckily I didn't pass out, but I can't really remember what happened in the next ten seconds or so. I think het hit me on my head a few more times and then went on to punch my friend, who didn't even realize what was happening and was still walking down the street, thinking that I was right behind him. Luckily my friend noticed the guy in time and he grabbed and held him till he calmed down. Then he let the guy go and he ran away.

I was still in a bit of a shock by the impact of the first punch and my upper lip was almost cut in half. I lost a lot of blood, far more than you'd expect from a cut in your upper lip, but I was still standing. After we calmed down a bit we went home and I never saw the guy who attacked us again.

Not since fourth grade.

My school is pretty laid back, we only get a few fights a year, at the best.

Only witnessed one in the 3 years I've been at this school.  But at my old school there were fights almost daily, some got pretty bloody.  Remember one in which a kid left on a stretcher while the janitors cleaned the blood from the walls and even the ceiling :-X

Was in a few back then.  Most were just one punch or a backhand across the face to let someone know I meant buisness.  A couple I was kicked out for, including one in which I sent a good friend of mine to the hospital :P  He just didnt get the point I was having a REALLY bad day ::)  Still talk like it never happened though...just doesnt say or do anything to piss me off anymore ;)  That was the worst one I've ever been in though.  He ended up with a broken nose and arm from being thrown against the wall...all I got was a sore knee from twisting it :P

Some people just have it coming to them though.  I'm typicaly an easy goin person and not quick to fight, but there is a line that some managed to cross ;)

At this school teachers break up a fight before the fists start swinging.  At my old school there would be a ring of classmates keeping the teachers out of it.  But then again a lot of the teachers were afraid to step in for their own safety ::)

The only real fight I was ever in wasn't that bad, because I didn't let it get that bad. However I almost took a human life.

When I was in either sophomore or junior year in highschool I used to hang out with this big cave-man like jackass. I only did so because I was new in a xenophobic hick-town and he was the only person who wasn't a dick to me. Anyway he came over to hang out one day and starts talking about pro-wrestling. I told him it was all fake and a got all offended and said "if it's fake, then tell me if this hurts" (told you he was an idiot) and procedes to put me in the most useless and painless hold ever. I easily got out of it and ended up on my back on the ground. before he could do anything, I punched him in the "crown jewels". and got away. Now he was really upset. The big ape managed to get ahold of me before I could get inside. luckily this occured right next to our barbecue grill... and all of its accessories. I managed to grab a heavey wire brush and thumped the idiot in the head. He dropped me, and went to his car to get a baseball bat. Now he meant buisiness. I went inside and got the only weapon available of sufficient power to stop an enraged cromagnon with a bat: The .45. I pointed it at the door and called the cops. I told the operator that if this guy comes in my house I'm going to shoot him, and (understandably) she freaked out. Well, thakefully I didn't have to shoot him. Something changed his mind before he got to the door and he got in his car and left. When the cops got there, thirty minutes later (::)) they actually told me that the gun wasn't a bad idea. "do what you have to do to protect yourself" the officer said. I didn't press charges, but the police went and had a talk with the ape anyway. What's funny is that after that he was always extremely nice to me.

I haven't really looked at guns the same since then. I'm kind of glad it happened because if I wasn't careful with deadly weapons before I sure as hell am now. Almost killing someone will do that to you.

P.S. PLEASE don't turn this into a debate on guns or gun laws. ::)

Only ever been in one fight, I usually resolve the issue before it escalates.

The fight I was in ended with the first punch.
That mouthy mofo apparently can't handle fists to the face.

I'm very tame (some would say boring) so I don't get into fights.  If you accused me of being a chicken, I would say "Good point!" and run away.  Despite being mortified of hitting others I have gotten into a fight or two.  All when I was a wee child.  There's only three I recall.
  • First one was when I was sixish.  I had two friends over and somehow my friend and I got around to punching, biting and slapping slapping each other whilst rolling over the floor like in the movies.  I truly can't remember why it started.
  • I was eightish.  I've never liked the bus, because the bus is the one place where I knew kids would always make fun of me.  Two stooges who sat behind me were overly persistent in their efforts, however.  One day stooge #1 made a "your momma" joke.  Being the type who liked my parents, I snapped and jumped over my seat, climbed on top of him and proceeded to pummel him, also like the movies.  All with my tiny child fists. ;D He never did make fun of me again.  Not that that made me feel any better about beating him up.  Well, kind of beating him up. :P
  • The third was about a cafeteria table seat.  We were nudging each other to get the seat, and I bit the kid. ::) Oops.
Of course these are only the ones I remember.  There might've been a few more minor ones.  And people say it's bad to inhibit yourself. ::) Self inhibitation = no fights.  No fights = O' happy day!  Isn't math grand? ::) :D

Well, since I'm 6'5" and 220 lbs, and have been since 3rd grade, most people don't mess with me, and I won't mess with them. ;D ;)

The only person that isn't afraid to fight me is my older brother.  Last year we were building a house (we both work for my dad), and we were having a bad day already as we usually argue about every little thing (only at work and while fishing ;D).  So we were both carrying a door around a house to put it in the basement, and he dropped the door without letting me know it was happening, and it raked my shin pretty good, so I got mad, and threw my glove at him and hit him in the face with it.  Oops, guess he doesn't like that, so he threw me to the ground and walked back to the front of the house here I promptly met him again.  I then grabbed him and try to throw him down in retaliation, but he ended up flinging me into a pile of garbage.  Now that he had taken me down twice, and I had only done the glove thing, I got up, grab him, pushed him down onto the driveway, and proceeded to drag him down the driveway by the leg.  By the time we reached the sidewalk, we were both laughing waaayy to hard to continue, and that was the end of that, which is how 99.999% of all of our fights end. ;) :)

Today though, I did see two girls get in a yelling match, calling each other horrible names and cursing up a storm right in the middle of one of my last classes, right after the professor finished his end-of-the-semster speech about how fun the class was and how great a class was, and that he had to leave fast because his wife was having a baby.  So the entire class just laughed at two girls as we left, and that was an interesting way to end my last class.  Crazy liberal-arts/anthropology people. ;D ::) :-/ ;)

I've been in more than a few... mostly 'cos I used to go to the kind of bars where that sort of trouble happened! And for one long stretch 'cos I lived in the second worst neighbourhood in town! Mind you after 3 months the muggers left me well alone... my advice is always wear steel toe-capped boots ;) Of course I'm not a sportsman ;D

Most of mine where for the same reasons as Ozzy wrong bar /area. I was beaten once ...... Jumped from behind and hit in the face with a lump of 3x2 (broke my nose and kinda dazed me). Luckily a passing motorist stopped and chased the perps off. The guy I was with wasn't quite so lucky and had to spend a week in hospital.

The only one from my school days, that I remember, was with the "supposed" area junior boxing champion. He forgot that Lonsdale rules didn't apply when in a street fight ...... He remembered after I had westled him to the ground and had him pinned to the floor with my knee on his neck. I was pulled off  when someone realised that he was turning  blue. He couldn't talk properly for nearly a month after. It made life safer for the kids he was bullying ... I made loads of friends by association  ::) ::)

There everywhere, just go round looking for trouble! Ammount of times i have been caught up in some 'action' against chavs is actually quite sickening, luckily when god was handing out the goodies they werent too blessed as you can see from the pic, + they are incredibly dumb and have no cash behind them, so when it comes to payback time i bet you can guess who comes out smiling ;)

Well.. fight and fight..
i prevented a boy to be beaten up, do that count?

I was walking to school, when two twits at 12 and 11 was bulling a boy that was about 8 years.

I got really pissed to see them kicking that defensless boy, so i grabbed twit 1, and twisted his arm, forced him into the ground (Eat dirt sucker!) and then forced the other twit into the ground also, and yelled for help.

Luckely there was someone who already called the police, and the two twits got arrested, and their parents was called to the station to explain why their boys was beating a little boy!

Boy it felt good when when i forced that twit into the ground!! Image
Cheers Theis
