Fights

Hey guys! Maybe a stupid thread, but I'm wondering if any of you ever was in a fight or maybe saw one that you still remember. Fights often make for good stories and sometimes they're funny. Sometimes they're nasty.
I'm asking this, because there are a lot of fights here lately, especially at night on the streets (duh! ::)). I hate fights and I'm wondering what you guys think.
I've only been in a fight once, so here's my story:
I went to a school party with about 5 other friends. I think it was about 4 years ago, so I was 16 at the time. We were just dancing and making fun on the dancefloo, when suddenly this guy - about the same age as me and very drunk - jumped in the middle of our group and started pushing us away. I didn't get what was going on at all, it didn't make any sence, because I had never seen the guy before in my life, but still he was angry at us for some reason. So after a few seconds a decided to stop the guy and before I knew it my fist was going in his direction. It wasn't really a hard punch, more like a hey!-back-off!-punch and I first (accidentally) hit the head of one of my friends before hitting the troublemaker, but he went down anyway, I think because he was very drunk. After that the security guys removed him from the club.
When I walked out of the door with a friend about two hours later I felt someone tapping on my shoulder so I turned around. Apparently the guy had waited two hours to have his revenge on me, because the next thing I knew was his fist hitting me right in the face. Luckily I didn't pass out, but I can't really remember what happened in the next ten seconds or so. I think het hit me on my head a few more times and then went on to punch my friend, who didn't even realize what was happening and was still walking down the street, thinking that I was right behind him. Luckily my friend noticed the guy in time and he grabbed and held him till he calmed down. Then he let the guy go and he ran away.
I was still in a bit of a shock by the impact of the first punch and my upper lip was almost cut in half. I lost a lot of blood, far more than you'd expect from a cut in your upper lip, but I was still standing. After we calmed down a bit we went home and I never saw the guy who attacked us again.
